Something that is awesome: Estate jewelry. It's fun buying pieces that are classic and original and were well-loved by their previous owners. I always feel like I'm doing the deceased a favor by pledging to give their jewelry a good home. At least until it ends up in a box at MY estate sale.
Something that is annoying: When someone hocks a big ol' juicy loogey nearby. You can hear the phlegm gathering in the back of that person's throat, followed by the distinctive splashing sound of jettisoned bodily fluids hitting the sidewalk. My gag reflex always dances a little jig when this happens.
